Self-Determination Movement came second with 27,12%, whereas the coalition of Democratic League of Kosovo and New Kosovo Alliance, which included on the list candidates of the newest political entity on the way to registration as political party- Alternative and Movement for Justice has 25,74% of votes.
Among the entities of minority communities, Civic Citizens Serb List (Građanska Inicijativa Srpska Lista) has secured the biggest number of votes – 5,90%
According to preliminary results, today’s Kosovo press points out that the coalition of Kosovo’s Democratic Party could have 39 deputies, VV31 and coalition of Democratic League of Kosovo 30 deputies. These numbers are insufficient for any entity to form the next govt. alone with the votes of 120-seat parliament even in the case of getting the support of 29 deputies of minority communities, 10 Serbs and 10 others.
The snap elections were called when the Kosovo government fell before its mandate should have ended, after 78 MPs backed a vote of no confidence against the administration.
