Correspondents

Tamara Tanasijević graduated with a degree in languages and literature at the Department of Slavic Studies, University of Vienna in 2013. Upon finishing her studies, she got involved with M-MEDIA, a NGO dedicated to the promotion of diversity in german-speaking media where she launched her career as a journalist. Apart from covering topics of intercultural relevance, other responsibilities included project management and coordination of international online campaigns. Currently, she is completing the Interdisciplinary Masters Programme in Southeastern European Studies, University of Graz, as an exchange student at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade. She is working as a foreign correspondent for Austrian media, covering topics on diversity and political culture in the Western Balkan countries. Due to her versatile background, her fields of interests range from European Integration and democratization processes to linguistic rights for minorities and their legal implementation.

Marija Ignjatijević graduated from Central European University in Budapest, in 2015, with an MA degree in International Relations and European Studies. She holds a BA degree in International Affairs, from University of Belgrade. Currently, she is completing another MA programme in International Security, at the University of Belgrade. Her field of interest covers a broad range of topics, from EU related subjects, in particular the EU enlargement process, to international relations and security theories. Accordingly, throughout her studies, Marija was engaged in various academic research projects, seminars and conferences. She is also very interested in translation and learning foreign languages.
